Technical Account Manager (Waltham)

In conjunction with outside sales, this Inside Sales representative will prospect for and sell the complete Bio-Rad line of consumables, apparatus, and equipment to life science research laboratories and other Bio-Rad Laboratory customers. Duties to include qualifying leads, prospecting and uncovering sales opportunities, quoting and providing product information, as well as daily inside sales administration. Product lines include sample prep, gene transfer, electrophoresis, PCR, and chromatography.

Experience:

BS in life science or equivalent education and experience. MS or Ph.D a plus.

Basic laboratory skills, including sample prep, electrophoresis, low pressure chromatography, PCR and spectrophotometery. Strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, professional appearance and a determination to succeed. Able to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Basic computer skills, including, Microsoft Office.
