BioPhase Solutions specializes in recruiting top talented professionals for San Diego’s Scientific community. We are currently looking for a Senior Research Associate, Molecular Technology to work for a leading San Diego biotechnology company.
Senior Research Associate
Description:
The successful candidate will utilize current and novel recombinant DNA/molecular biological approaches to clone and express proteins of therapeutic value for the treatment of cancers and metabolic diseases. The candidate will play an active role to expand the company technology platform, develop mammalian production cell lines, improve mammalian, and facilitate protein engineering.
Job Requirements:
* B.S./M.S. in a scientific discipline with at least 5 years of full time laboratory research.
* Experience in molecular biology techniques, such as plasmid construction, site-directed mutagenesis, PCR, DNA sequencing.
* Experience with mammalian cell tissue culture and cell line development.
* Experience with bacterial culture and aseptic techniques.
* Experience with ELISA, PAGE, UV quantification.
* Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
For all candidates, excellent computer, communication, organization and collaborative skills are essential. Previous experience in a Biotech or Pharmaceutical environment is preferred.
