Fluidigm Corporation seeks a Sr. Product Marketing Manager to lead and manage the efforts in its BioMark product line to commercialize new and enabling solutions utilizing our integrated fluidic circuit (IFC) technology. The position will work closely with all aspects of the marketing organization, the R&D organization, and the sales organization to drive these new solutions to meet and exceed technical, marketing, and financial expectations. This position reports to the Sr. Director of marketing and will be responsible for:
- Analysis and market research to understand needs
- Creation, update, and management of product requirements for novel genetic analysis or preparation products
- Management of the products from strategic planning through execution
- Development of key product messaging and product positioning
- Development, implementation, and execution of product marketing plans, materials and sales collateral
- Development of required industry partnerships and co-marketing efforts to insure success of products
- Marketing support to sales teams
The successful candidate will have:
- 5-7 years relevant experience in marketing of DNA sequencing products
- Experience with DNA Microarray technologies, gene expression analysis, copy number variation analysis, real-time PCR, and genotyping would be a definite plus.
- Strong presentation, organizational and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in microbiology related field; MBA or advanced science degree is a plus
