Medarex is looking for a highly motivated, detail oriented, and good team player to join their Cell Biology and Pharmacology group. In this position, you will be performing Q-RT-PCR assays on clinical samples. ELISA-based assays or cytokine multiplex assays will also be conducted. In this position, you may supervise research associated and identify potential biomarkers for various pre-clinical programs. The right candidate must be well organized, have good record keeping skills and have proficient computer skills. The candidate will work closely with the clinical department and participate in team meetings.
Required Skills/Experience:
- A Ph.D. in Cell Biology or related field.
- 2-6 years biotechnology experience.
- Experience with Q-RT-PCR and ELISA assays is essential.
- Previous experience with handling of clinical samples is desired.
- Highly-motivated and a quick learner.
- Flexible, responsible, efficient, and a good team-worker.
- Organized and detail-oriented with excellent record-keeping and communication skills.
