Scientific Associate, Drug Discovery
We are seeking a scientific associate to join our Infectious Disease Drug Discovery group. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting day-to-day experiments using cell based reporter assays, high-throughput screening of small molecule/cDNA/siRNA libraries, and assay development for in vitro studies.
Minimum requirements include a B.S. degree in biology or a related discipline with 3-5 years of lab experience. The candidate must be highly skilled in tissue culture techniques, enzyme assays, all aspects of cloning, PCR, RT-PCR, and a reporter assay development. A high level of self-motivation, the ability to work in a team oriented setting, and good communication skills are required.
