The work exclusively uses in vivo studies in mouse models. Technical areas include analysis of CD4 cells by flow cytometry, histology, and PCR; screening of transgenic and knockout mice; and preparation and testing of reagents for cell separation, culture, and staining. Organization, flexibility, and willingness to learn, are essential. Experience or a prior course in immunology is desirable and willingness to handle and work with animals is required.
