Research Technician (Boston Medical Center)

Research technician wanted to work in the Hematology/Oncology section in a lab studying animal models of cancer and protein misfolding diseases. Responsibilities include routine molecular biology and biochemistry techniques (for example: DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, protein isolation and analysis, cell culture, rodent manipulation and analysis of tissues), assisting other members of the lab and preparation of reagents.
Applicant must have a B.S. or M.S. in biology, biochemistry or a related field and lab experience is preferred. We are looking for a motivated individual able to work independently but interact well with others.
