Research Associate (Temp-to-Hire)

Pay will be $16-18/hour.
Reports to: Staff Scientist
Research Associate position with a start up Biotech Company in the PB area. They are looking for a Research Associate to assist the Staff Scientist in the development phase of their product. They are looking for someone to assist with daily lab duties including the use of Real Time PCR.
This a great opportunity for someone who is eager to make an impact, learn new things and gain lots of experience.
This temp to perm position is for an RA with up to 1-2 years experience.
Job Details:
-Designs and executes experiments to complete a segment of overall project; incorporate findings into design of future experiments.
-With supervision, writes and reviews product documentation.
-Presents data to internal groups.
-Carries out assigned laboratory tasks.
-Operate complex lab equipment and perform routine maintenance/repair.
-Assists in the establishment of procedures and research methodologies.
-Provide recommendations and observations to scientific staff.
-Trains others on project assay.
-Reports to Staff Scientist
Preferred Experience: PCR/RT PCR experience desired
