Research Associate – Molecular Biology

We currently have a job opening for a Molecular Biologist Research Associate. The position requires a B.S. in Biological Sciences with a minimum of 6 months-4 years work history or an M.S. with 1-3+ years of work history. Industry experience is preferred and a background in immunology is a plus.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual, who works well independently and with others. This position requires the capacity to work with minimal supervision for routine work, and with general instruction for new projects. In this position, you will contribute to the development of novel antibody therapeutics for autoimmune and infectious diseases. The successful candidate will be responsible for cloning new antibody target molecules, expressing recombinant proteins in various expression systems and creating reagents used for screening purposes during the process of monoclonal antibody generation. Other responsibilities include immunologic characterization of samples from in vivo proof of concept studies for antibody therapeutics. Basic computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Word, Power Point) as well as excellent oral/written communication skills are a must.

This position requires proficiency with molecular biology techniques and lab skills such as:
-PCR-cloning

-Western blot analysis
