Research Associate (Cambridge, MA)

We are currently working with an early stage drug discovery comapany in Cambridge who is seeking a highly motivated individual who will participate in the development, optimization, and execution of biochemical and cell-based assays to evaluate lead molecules. As an integral part of the biology team, the successful candidate will contribute significantly to our drug development programs, not only technically but also intellectually. Additional duties include ordering lab supplies and general lab maintenance.
Requirements
BS/MS in biology, biochemistry or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Biotech or Pharmaceutical company
Significant experience in cell culture, ELISA and cell-based assays; and familiarity with molecular and biochemistry techniques including cloning, PCR and Western Blotting are required.
Hands-on experience in compound screening using cell-based or biochemical assays and high throughput screening is preferred
Must be organized, be able to multi-task, and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
