Research Associate (Cambridge)

Cequent Pharmaceuticals is an early-stage biopharmaceutical company. Cequent is pioneering the development of novel therapeutics to prevent and treat a wide range of human diseases – from inflammatory diseases to cancer – based on the company’s proprietary technology, TransKingdom RNA interference (tkRNAi).
We are currently recruiting an expereienced Research Associate to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities include:
Design, conduct, and evaluate experiments
Prepare reports, summaries, and protocols
Present data in team and departmental meetings
Qualifications:
BS/MS degree with 1-2 years relevant research experience in a lab setting (academic/industry)
Mammalian cell culture and basic bacteriology skills
Proficiency in molecular biology techniques such as DNA and RNA extraction, PCR, real-time PCR, gel electrophoresis, Western blot, cloning, and ELISA
Experience with RNA and RNAi techniques a plus
Word processing and spreadsheet data management
Must be organized, focused and detail oriented
