Perform basic molecular biological techniques, including DNA, RNA, or protein isolation, PCR, Southern blotting, and routine gel electrophoresis
Maintain mouse colonies, including human neurological disease model mice, and assist in genotype analysis
Assist research staff with mouse tissue preparation and sectioning
Assist with equipment assembly calibration and repair work of small electrical apparatuses
Set up primary neuron cultures and assist with culture maintenance and cell/tissue staining
Perform RNA and protein extraction from various biological materials
