Part-Time Lab Technician (RTP)

Eton Bioscience Inc. is a biotech services company located in the heart of Research Triangle Park. We are looking for a part-time Lab Technician to work between the hours of 2-8pm on Monday-Friday. Hours, pay, and job responsibilities will vary depending on the candidate’s attitude and ambitions.
The ideal candidate will have (or be pursuing) a bachelors degree in the biological sciences and be able to start working in August. Having energy to burn and an interest in DNA sequencing specifically or biotech in general are two other characteristics of our best employees.
Other qualifications include:
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in both team and individual environments
- Basic laboratory skills (emphasis on pipetting)
- A good driving record
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Driving to customer sites in a company-provided car to pick-up DNA samples
- Processing DNA sequencing reactions while following GLP
- PCR purification
