Molecular Technologist



A busy, CLIA accredited laboratory is looking for a self-motivated, goal-oriented and efficient Molecular Technologist and Supervisor for the new state of the art expanded Molecular Diagnostics Department.

Desired applicants will be licensed as a CLS, and have experience with RNA/DNA extraction techniques and polymerase chain reaction (PCR). Previous experience operating cancer genotype, viral load platforms, gel electrophoresis and real-time PCR is a plus!

Daily tasks will include nucleic acid extraction, amplification and analysis, ELISA, assay validation, Quality Control, technical writing, and method development.


Molecular Technologist Supervisor



Must be certified as a technologist within their specialty. Must qualify as a general Supervisor as defined under CLIA. Must have at least three years of experience in their field with at least two years in their technical specialty. Previous management experience or participation in management training programs is required. Must have a good working knowledge of regulatory and accreditation requirements. A high degree of problem solving and decision making skills is required. Excellent leadership, human relations and communication skills are required. Must demonstrate behaviors consistent with the values of Laboratory Sciences of Arizona.
