Description/Key Responsibilities: The position requires the ability to perform and independently interpret molecular cloning and protein expression experiments. The successful candidate must be experienced and proficient in molecular biology, protein analysis and cell culture and transfection techniques. These include standard cloning, PCR and RT-PCR, plasmid preparation and analysis, protein expression confirmation. Expression systems in use include bacterial, baculovirus and mammalian.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s plus 3 years experience or Master’s degree plus 1 years experience in biological sciences or equivalent. Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills are essential.
