Medical Biller (Quincy)

Fallon Ambulance Service is seeking a Full time Medical Biller. This position initiates and coordinates the billing process from inception.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain & facilitate billing process
- Data entry of all client and insurance information
- Maintenance, coordination and verification of existing billing accounts and information
- Verification of patient demographics
- Identification and correction of Patient Care Report (PCR) discrepancies
- Compliance review of PCR/trip records and supporting data
- Interaction with Pre-Billing regarding informational discrepancies
- Client contact and interaction for billing resolutions
Minimum Qualifications:
Ø HS Diploma or equivalent
Ø 1-2 years billing and insurance experience
Ø Working knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes
Ø Effective written, oral and interpersonal skills
Ø Ability to work with stringent deadlines
Ø Proficient Computer knowledge; MS Office, Outlook
Ø ZDS RescueNet experience
