International Product Manager
In this role, the chosen candidate will provide commercial leadership of the IVDx portion of the New Generation Platform System. Responsibilities will include managing an assigned diagnostic product portfolio throughout the product life cycle, from concept to obsolescence, in the areas of microbiology and infectious diseases. Key functions will include identifying opportunities, specifying products, handling the launch preparation and launch, and driving market adoption. Specific duties will include contributing to the development of the global marketing plan, developing marketing tools and leading global marketing activities in support of the product, and managing product development and design control process activities.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Science, Business Administration or a related field, along with 4+ years of commercial experience in the diagnostics or medical device industry. Requires experience in translating science, technology and customer business considerations into marketing messages and product positioning; a background in managing branding, medical education, advertising or PR agencies; and budget management experience. Must have a successful, demonstrated track record of achievement of sales and marketing goals, coupled with an understanding of the sales/marketing relationship.
