Primary Responsibilities
Carry out experiments in support of product development and maintain a well organized lab notebook
Carefully record experimental outcome paying attention to details at every step for proper troubleshooting
Compile, analyze and present data at lab meetings
Order and ensure proper stocking of reagents and disposables
Move between projects to provide proper assistance
Follow and adhere to SOPs and all safety regulations as they apply to the laboratory and work areas.
Qualifications
A strong background in molecular biology
Skilled in PCR, rt-PCR and DNA/RNA isolation and purification
Bachelors degree or higher in molecular biology
Three to five years commercial experience in laboratory research
Strong computer skills, including all Office products
Proven ability to report and present experimental results and analysis
Strong interpersonal skills, including both written and oral communication skills.
