Biological Quality Manager (Clayton, NC)

Kelly Scientific Resources is currently seeking an experience microbiologist to manage a quality control laboratory at a local generic pharmaceutical company in the Clayton area. This is a temp to hire opportunity, with substantial opportunities for growth. Successful candidates will possess technical expertise in PCR, Gel Electrophoresis, and other general microbiology techniques.
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- QC Biological Testing
- Data Analysis and Interpretation
- Working with Manufacturing and Senior Management
- Supervising a team of scientist and technicians; including holding responsibilities for performance reviews, counseling, and scheduling.
- GMP Experience
Experience required:
- Bachelor’s or Masters Degree in Biology (or related field)
- Seven to Ten Years of Experience in a QC Microbiology/Biology Laboratory
- Pharmaceutical Experience
