NSTAR Search Account Executive

To build on this success, we are currently seeking individuals to join our staff in Clayton, NC, to work in the role of Account Executive. Working in inside sales, the Account Executive will take a lead role in identifying new clients and developing account relationships.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Sales and Territory Management Planning (15%)

– Develops sales plan for assigned existing and targeted accounts.

– Analyzes and assimilates industry and competitive information.

– Researches targeted prospects and formulates contact strategies

– Meets monthly, quarterly and annual sales objectives

• Executes the Sales Plan (75%)

– Executes the sales plan and tracks performance of closed business.

– Conducts research to identify prospect needs.

– Contacts 100% of assigned customers each quarter.

– Designs customer-specific, value-based solutions to meet clients’ business and performance improvement needs.

– Acts on sales leads within 24 hours of receipt and provides status report.

– Involves and positions others from within the NSTAR team with key clients early in the sales cycle.

– Presents articulate sales proposals to client decision-makers and closes opportunities that meet clients’ stated goals.

• General Administrative and Other Responsibilities (10%)

– Updates PCR system with all customer data and sales activities.

– Prepares monthly revenue forecasts.

– Fully knowledgeable about all available NSTAR programs and services.

– Knowledgeable of the competition and skilled at competitive selling.

– Identifies training needs and schedules time for learning & development.

Desired Qualifications:

• B.A./B.S. (or equivalent)

• 2+ years experience in agency recruiting; sales; telemarketing or customer service with a high call volume.

• Strong Communication Skills

• Goal Oriented
